I've got a 2017 Chieftain with around 70,000 miles on it. The engine and exhaust are still the original ones, and honestly, I'm pretty satisfied with the power it provides. I'm just wondering, is anyone else keeping their bikes stock? I'd love to hear how yours are performing and whether you've been tempted to make any mods or if you're also sticking with the stock setup.

That's great to hear! The 2017 Indian Chieftain is a nice bike, and it's awesome that you're liking it just as it is. A lot of riders enjoy how well it handles both power and comfort in the stock version

If you ever think about boosting the sound and performance, check out SHARKROAD slip-on mufflers. They're made just for Indian bikes and give a richer, more aggressive sound without needing any big changes

70K on a stock Chieftain's impressive, I'd just keep an eye on wear items like the cam and clutch. I've heard some start needing attention around that mileage even if performance still feels great

That's great! Sticking with your Chieftain stock is a smart move if you want reliability and smooth performance. A buddy of mine has one with over 80,000 miles on it, everything's original except for the tires and brakes, and it still runs like a champ. If you're looking to enhance the sound a bit without making major changes, SHARKROAD slip-ons are a solid option. Have you considered any other mods, like suspension tweaks or tuning?
